Disposals
Purchasers of companies, businesses and properties from Weald have included Prudential plc, Pure Gym Ltd, Virgin Active Group Holdings plc, Taylor Wimpey plc, M J Gleesons plc, London Town plc, County Estate Holdings Group plc, Galliford Try Ltd and Albemarle Investments Ltd.
Investment Policy
Weald has pursued a general policy of re-investing both property and non-property trading and capital sale profits into property investments, including farm land. It currently holds a portfolio of residential and commercial property investments in London and the South East. It continues to underwrite at Lloyd’s of London through Westmoreland Underwriting Ltd and has funded a charitable trust in the name of The Romshed Charitable Trust.

Martin Weston
Managing Director
Martin graduated in 1975 from Oxford University in law, qualified as a barrister and worked in banking and finance at Commonwealth Development Corporation and Lazard Brothers before establishing Weald in 1985. He also acts as Honorary Consul in the UK for the Republic of Nauru.
Robert Webb
Finance Director
Robert graduated in 1976 from Bristol University in economics, qualified as an accountant and worked for accountancy firms Hays Allan and Arthur Andersen in London and News International in Sydney. In addition to his role with Weald until recently he was Chairman of the property investment company House Owners Investments Limited
